These are the terms that apply to every golf cart rental with Langosta Golf Carts. You accept them when you complete a booking.
Driver requirements
- Drivers must be at least 18 years old.
- A valid driver’s license is required and must be shown at delivery.
- A credit card in the renter’s name must be shown at delivery.
Payment
Nothing is charged when you book. Payment is made when the cart is delivered, by card or cash. All prices include Costa Rica’s 13% VAT. A discount applies to payments in cash.
Use of the cart
- Carts are street-legal and may be driven on local roads, with plates, marchamo and a current technical inspection.
- Carts may not be driven on the beach.
- The renter is responsible for following Costa Rican traffic law, including speed limits and the use of seat belts where fitted.
- The cart may not be driven under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Damage and loss
The renter is responsible for damage to the cart caused during the rental, as well as for loss or theft of the cart or its accessories. No additional insurance is included with the rental.
Delivery and pick-up
Delivery and pick-up take place between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. at the address provided when booking. Free in Tamarindo and Playa Langosta; a flat fee applies to Playa Grande and Hacienda Pinilla.
