Booking and payment
Do I pay when I book? No. Booking is free and nothing is charged to your card. You pay when we deliver the cart, by card or cash.
Do your prices include tax? Yes. All prices include Costa Rica’s 13% VAT. Pay cash on delivery and save 11%: $70/day instead of $79.10 for a 4-seater, $100 instead of $113 for a 6-seater.
Is there a security deposit? No. There is no deposit to rent with us.
What is your cancellation policy? Plans changed? No problem. Please let us know at least 24 hours before your scheduled delivery so we can make the cart available to another guest.
Requirements
What do I need to rent a cart? A valid driver’s license and a credit card, shown at delivery. Drivers must be at least 18.
What if the cart gets damaged? You are responsible for damage you cause, as stated in the rental agreement you accept when booking.
The carts
Are the carts electric? Yes, our whole fleet is 100% electric — no gas stops, no engine noise.
Are your carts street-legal? Yes. Every cart has license plates, marchamo (the annual road permit) and a current technical inspection, so you can drive it on local roads.
How do I charge it? We deliver the cart charged and show you how to plug it in. You just charge it overnight at your place, like a phone.
Can I drive on the beach? No. Carts are not allowed on the beach in Costa Rica.
Delivery
Where do you deliver? Free delivery and pick-up in Tamarindo and Playa Langosta. Playa Grande and Hacienda Pinilla have a flat delivery fee. Anywhere else in Guanacaste, message us and we will quote it.
What are your delivery hours? Every day, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
What if something goes wrong during my rental? Message us on WhatsApp between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. We are local, so help is never far away.
